The Expat Card is designed to make life easier for resident expats. It offers special prices on goods and services, social events and a free help line.

As the owner of several publications we sometimes receive goods and services from advertisers as partial payment for their advertisements. We offer these to Expat Card members at discounts of between 25% to 50%. An excellent way to enjoy genuine real bargains.

Details of all the current offers are found on this website. Members also get a monthly e-newsletter highlighting the latest offers.

While many of the offers will benefit residents of the Klang Valley we think that even expats resident in other parts of the country will find good value in some of the offers particularly in the hotel, golf and airline offers

GREAT JOINING OFFER New members will receive vouchers for ‘no obligation’ free drinks at several restaurant and bars which we have selected because they are popular with the expat community. In fact the value of the free drinks exceeds the annual membership fee!

ONGOING BENEFIT

Special offers from restaurants and bars We negotiate special two-for-one offers at selected food and beverage outlets. This allows you to try out new places at special low prices when you bring a partner. It simply means that the lowest priced meal is entirely free. Other restaurants and bars offer discounts or special offers for our members

Special Hotel Rates. We have negotiated special rates for our members at selected hotels around Malaysia and in Singapore. We have only chosen hotels which we believe would provide the appropriate level of quality and service for our members.

Monthly Wine Dinner. Most months we hold a sit down wine dinner in a popular restaurant in the KL/PJ area. It’s a great way to try out a new restaurant. Expat Card members receive a RM20 to RM30 discount on the price charged to non members plus priority bookings. Even the regular price we charge is specially discounted so the wine evenings represents outstanding value.

Monthly Mingles Night. Most months we hold a cocktail function somewhere in KL/PJ area which usually lasts two hours and includes free flow drinks and finger food – a great way to meet new people. Expat Card members receive a RM15 discount on the normal price.

Golf Club Privileges. Members can gain access to 'members only' golf courses or obtain special rates open to the general public.

Special offers on other products and services. Expat Card members receive special offers on other products and services. This includes a variety of special offers including a ‘members only’ discount on Etihad Airlines on flights to Europe and special rates on a medical examination at Pantai Hospital Members also receive a one third discount off the annual fee for the Wine Club - usual fee RM75, members pay RM50 a year.

Free magazine & supplements. Members get a special rate on our new, bi-monthly tourism and property publication, Senses of Malaysia. Normal subscription is RM48 for six issues, members pay just RM30 per annum. Members also do not have to pay for our annual KL Welcome Guide which normally retails for RM10. Just ask for a copy and we will give it to you free. Either collect it from our offices or we will mail if for RM5.
