Event announcements and Advertising

Any member wishing to get publicity for an event they are arranging will be able to get free coverage on our websites and usually in The Expat magazine.

Members who have something they wish to advertise can do so in any of our publications or websites at 50% off the normal rate. This privilege is limited to two occasions per year and is only to advertise member’s own items or businesses.


Help Desk

Our free Help Desk is designed for MM2H members who need help resolving problems in Malaysia or information on how to obtain assistance. We endeavour to help with this. This also includes assistance with any issues relating to the Malaysia My Second Home programme.


Special Rate on MM2H Services

MM2H card members receive a special rate on any services offered by our sister company Borneo Vision (MM2H) Sdn Bhd. This includes renewing their MM2H visa, getting a visa extension or applying for a tax free car.

Joining Offers

With this membership package you will find vouchers for special offers from restaurants and bars. From time to time we also negotiate offers from other companies which are extended to new members. The value of these offers will usually exceed your membership fee so make sure you take advantage of them before the expiry date on the vouchers.


Food and Beverage offers

For the many members who eat out quite regularly we have regular many offers from restaurants and bars which will be of interest. Some of these are one off and require a vouchers while others are ongoing and you just show your membership card. Our ‘two for ones’ offers allow members to dine out with a companion and one of them gets to eat free. It’s an excellent way to check out a new restaurant.


Hotel Offers

Most expats like to travel round the country and we offer some great rates at participating hotels. We have focused on the types of places where expats enjoy staying so you can be assured of a warm welcome. There are also occasional offers from properties outside Malaysia


Other Products and Services

There are also offers on other products and services, including retail products, health care, air travel so look out for these at the website as we are constantly adding new offers.


Events

Most months we host a Wine Dinner in the Kuala Lumpur area at a different restaurant each time. This is a sit down affair and members can enjoy a special rate.

Our Expat Mingle is a great way to meet people. It’s two hours of snacks and free flow drinks which we arrange at a different outlets around KL. Once again members enjoy a special rate.

At least once a year, usually around the time of our annual exhibition, The Expat Expo, we arrange a dinner for Malaysia My Second Homers. This is exclusively for MM2H card members and their friends.


The Expat Group Publications

Most of our publications are free but we do charge for the KL Welcome Guide (our annual guide book for Kuala Lumpur) and subscriptions to our new magazine, Senses of Malaysia (all about Malaysian tourist destinations and the local property market). Expat Card members can request a free copy of the KL Welcome Guide and enjoy a special rate on a subscription to Senses of Malaysia
